Aaron Rodgers Signs One-Year Contract to Return to Pittsburgh Steelers

Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers has agreed to a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to reports. The deal includes $22 million guaranteed, with potential earnings up to $25 million through incentives. This agreement marks Rodgers' 22nd season in the NFL and his second with Pittsburgh.

Rodgers, 42, led the Steelers to an AFC North title last season, recording 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions. His return reunites him with coach Mike McCarthy, who was hired by Pittsburgh in January after Mike Tomlin's departure. Rodgers and McCarthy previously collaborated for 13 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, securing a Super Bowl victory together.

The Steelers have also drafted quarterbacks Drew Allar and Will Howard in recent years, indicating a strategy to develop future talent under Rodgers' mentorship.
