Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill sustained a left knee injury during the third quarter of Monday night's game against the New York Jets. After catching a 10-yard pass near the sideline, Hill's leg twisted awkwardly as he was tackled by Jets defensive back Malachi Moore. He was carted off the field and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Before exiting, Hill had recorded six receptions for 67 yards, contributing to Miami's 27-21 victory over the Jets. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel praised Hill's positive attitude, noting his focus on the team's success despite the injury.
Hill, a five-time first-team All-Pro and member of the NFL's All-2010s Team, is in his fourth season with the Dolphins after a successful stint with the Kansas City Chiefs.
