Bad Bunny to Headline Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in 2026
Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny has been announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LX halftime show, set for February 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny has been announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LX halftime show, scheduled for February 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The announcement was made jointly by the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation during halftime of the "Sunday Night Football" game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys.
In a statement, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, expressed his gratitude and dedication to his heritage:
"What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown... this is for my people, my culture, and our history."
Jay-Z, founder of Roc Nation, praised Bad Bunny's impact on Puerto Rico, stating:
"What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage."
Bad Bunny, a three-time Grammy Award winner, has significantly influenced Latin music and culture. He recently released his sixth studio album and has been active in acting and sports business, including co-owning the Puerto Rican basketball team Los Cangrejeros de Santurce.
This will not be Bad Bunny's first Super Bowl appearance; he previously performed during the halftime show in 2020 alongside Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
The selection of Bad Bunny follows speculation that pop star Taylor Swift might headline the show. However, reports indicate that Swift declined the opportunity due to contractual disagreements.
Super Bowl LX will be broadcast on NBC.
