DBS Group Holdings will see board chairman Peter Seah retire at the end of 2026, with current board member Anthony Lim set to assume the role on Jan. 1, 2027.

Singapore – DBS Group Holdings said its chairman, Peter Seah, will step down after 16 years of service, retiring on Dec. 31, 2026. Seah, 80, will remain with the bank as a senior adviser for one year.

The bank disclosed that board member Anthony Lim will become chairman on Jan. 1, 2027. Lim, who joined the DBS board in April 2020, serves on several committees, including the board executive committee, the board risk management committee and the compensation and management development committee.

"Having completed the CEO transition to Su Shan, the bank is now entering its next chapter from a position of strength," Seah said, adding that he is confident in Lim’s ability to lead.

Seah has chaired DBS since 2010, overseeing the bank’s digital transformation and expansion into higher-return businesses. He also holds chairmanships at Singapore Airlines and Lasalle College of the Arts.
