Thirty-year-old Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel died following a cardiac arrest caused by a chest collision with Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono during a Segunda División match.
Jesús de Miguel, a 30-year-old forward for CD Tenerife, died after suffering a cardiac arrest following a collision with Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono in the final minutes of a second-division match at Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López. The incident occurred on Monday when De Miguel was challenging for the ball in midfield and was struck in the chest.
