Honda Reports 13% Sales Growth in October 2026

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) announced total sales of 734,566 units for October 2026, reflecting a 13% increase from 650,596 units sold in October 2025. Domestic sales accounted for 664,831 units, an 11% rise from 598,952 units a year earlier, while exports surged by 35% to 69,735 units compared to 51,644 units in the same month last year.

The company has maintained its growth momentum during the festive season, supported by a diverse product portfolio and an extensive dealer network of over 7,000 locations across India. Although the specific contributions of individual models were not disclosed, the overall performance indicates strong demand in the market.

In the first seven months of the financial year, HMSI reported cumulative sales of 4,174,638 units, up 15% from 3,644,151 units during the same period in 2025. Domestic sales for this timeframe reached 3,708,903 units, a 13% increase, while exports rose by 28% to 465,735 units. The significant growth in exports highlights their critical role in Honda's overall performance as the company aims to sustain this upward trend through the remainder of the financial year.
