DWTS Season 35 Yacht Rock Night Scores and Elimination Update

Resumen

Amber Glenn and Harry Shum Jr. tied for the highest judges' scores on Yacht Rock Night, while the competition continues after last week's eliminations.

ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" presented a Yacht Rock-themed episode, featuring dances set to soft-rock classics such as Daryl Hall & John Oates' "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" and Rupert Holmes' "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)". Amber Glenn and partner Pasha Pashkov opened the night with a foxtrot to Toto's "Hold the Line" and received three eights from the judges, a 24-point total that tied for the highest score of the season to date. Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson later matched that score, also earning 24 points.

The episode also listed scores for all remaining couples, with Julia Stiles/Ezra Sosa receiving 19 points, Guillermo Rodriguez/Witney Carson 15, Tatyana Ali/Jan Ravnik 21, Taylor Hanson/Britt Stewart 18, Maura Higgins/Mark Ballas 22, Ciara Miller/Brandon Armstrong 18, Jackson Olson/Emma Slater 18, Connor Wood/Rylee Arnold 20, Jenna Dewan/Val Chmerkovskiy 21, Tyler Cameron/Sharna Burgess 17 and Ezra Frech/Daniella Karagach 21. The show noted that the couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and viewer votes will be eliminated, and reminded viewers of the voting window for East and West Coast audiences.

"The lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes determines who leaves the competition," the program explained.

Last week, Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten were eliminated, following the earlier departure of Conner Leavitt and Sarah Jane Nader in the premiere week.
