Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, Fold 7, and Tri-Fold Availability Details Emerge
Samsung's upcoming flagship foldable devices are expected to be released in the near future.
Samsung is set to unveil its new Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 foldable smartphones next month, alongside a possible Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Availability for these phones is expected to commence shortly after the announcement. The tri-foldable device, potentially named Galaxy G Fold, is anticipated to be available for purchase later in the year.
Flip 7 and Fold 7 Availability
According to a report, the Flip 7 and Fold 7 are projected to become available to the general public in August, approximately one month after their announcement. Samsung is scheduled to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in New York City on July 9, where these devices will be showcased.
The Flip 7 FE, though not directly named in the leak, is also expected to become available in August following its announcement in July.
Galaxy Tri-Fold Availability
The tri-fold device, which is anticipated to have a limited release in select markets, is also expected to be unveiled in July alongside the Flip 7 and Fold 7. While a confirmed date is not yet available, the report estimates that this device will become available in October.
This aligns with Samsung's plans to launch the tri-fold device shortly after its other foldables, with a potential for a wider global launch if it performs well in initial markets. The G Fold is expected to have a production run of approximately 200,000 units initially, reflecting Samsung's cautious sales expectations due to the device's cost.
