Analyst urges partial profit booking as Nifty seeks sustained rally
Sudeep Shah of SBI Securities said on 7 November that the Nifty could maintain its rally provided it stayed above 24,750, but he advised investors to book partial profits ahead of the Muhurat session and pointed to Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance and TVS Motor as the top picks. Earlier in the week, the Gift Nifty rose about 1. 5% on 5 November, signalling a strong market opening, and the Nifty closed at 24,536, up 2.
4%, helped by lower crude prices and foreign institutional buying. Later that day, the Gift Nifty indicated a muted start as global markets slipped, before the Nifty crossed the 25,000 mark for the first time since February 2026, with banks and financial services leading the advance.
