Dean Norris and wife file for divorce as their restaurant seeks Chapter 11 protection

Resumen

Actor Dean Norris and his wife Bridget have filed for divorce while their jointly owned Swing Inn Cafe in Temecula, California, entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy with over $1.8 million in liabilities.

Dean Norris and his wife, Bridget Norris, filed for divorce in February 2025, according to court documents obtained by Page Six. The filing lists “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, and Bridget is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their five children, as well as spousal support.

The couple’s restaurant, Swing Inn Cafe, a historic diner and barbecue venue in Temecula, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on September 25, 2025. Court filings show the business holds assets of approximately $148,000 against liabilities of about $1.81 million. Chapter 11 allows the establishment to reorganize its debts while continuing operations.

Swing Inn Cafe, purchased by the Norris family in 2002, has been operating since 1927. The restaurant’s Instagram page posted a recent interview with Dean Norris and promoted a Thanksgiving pre-order, but it has not publicly addressed the bankruptcy filing.

Dean Norris, 63, is best known for his role as Hank Schrader on AMC’s “Breaking Bad.” He married Bridget, a former entertainment lawyer, in October 2021. The pair also co-own the Norris Performing Arts Center in Murrieta, opened in 2018, which provides performing-arts training for youth.

Page Six contacted Norris’s representative for comment but did not receive a response.
