Dean Norris and wife file for divorce amid restaurant bankruptcy
Actor Dean Norris and his wife Bridget have filed for divorce in Riverside County, citing irreconcilable differences, while their jointly owned restaurant faces Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Actor Dean Norris and his wife, Bridget Norris, have initiated divorce proceedings in Riverside County, California, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. Bridget filed for divorce in 2025, listing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason and noting the marriage began on October 27, 2001, with a separation date of January 15, 2025. The couple has five children, including two minors, Zoe, 17, and Dean, 16. Bridget’s filing requests joint legal and physical custody, spousal support, and a court determination of property rights acquired during the marriage. Dean responded to the filing months later, but the case has not yet been finalized.
The filing also reveals that the Norris family is undergoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy for their restaurant, Swing Inn Cafe, in Temecula, which they purchased in 2022. Bankruptcy documents indicate a steep decline in gross revenue of about $1 million between 2024 and 2025, and the business holds assets estimated between $100,000 and $500,000 against liabilities ranging from $1 million to $10 million.
"The restaurant experienced a steep $1 million decline in gross revenue from 2024 to 2025," the filing states.
