Jen and Zac Affleck Mark Daughter's 5th Birthday Amid Divorce Filing

Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck posted Instagram Stories on Wednesday to mark their eldest daughter Nora's fifth birthday, hours after Jen filed for divorce in Utah. Jen, 27, shared a photo of Nora beside a new bike in a kitchen decorated with streamers and balloons, writing, "I can’t believe she’s already 5." Zac, 30, uploaded a video of Nora blowing out candles on a birthday donut, with her younger brother Lucas, 3, playing with a balloon in the background, and added, "Happy birthday Rara! I hope all your dreams always come true."

Zac also posted a separate Reel from a theme park visit with Nora, captioning it, "Happy Birthday to my baby girl! You have the biggest heart and make everything feel a little extra magical. I love you." It is not clear whether Jen appeared in that footage.

Nora was born in November 2021, two years after the couple married. Their son Lucas arrived in July 2023, followed by daughter Penelope in July 2025. In June, the reality-TV personalities announced they are expecting another child. Jen shared recent ultrasound images and wrote, "Chapter four," alongside a heart emoji.

A source familiar with the family said the parents are concentrating on preparing for the new baby and supporting their children while managing the divorce process. Jen had previously described the marriage as "stronger than ever," and Zac remarked that difficult periods can either lead to divorce or become a "blessing in disguise."
