Country singer Nicole Taylor, 35, passed away after a prolonged battle with aggressive breast cancer, her triplet sisters announced in a TikTok video on Monday, Nov. 2. The sisters, Nika and Natalie Taylor, said Nicole was first diagnosed with stage breast cancer in 2022 and initially responded well to treatment, achieving a period of no detectable disease.
"We’re heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister Nicole Taylor," Nika said in the video.
Natalie added that Nicole remained hopeful throughout her illness, continuing to travel, work, and participate in CrossFit while undergoing chemotherapy. She described Nicole’s outlook as fearless, noting that Nicole believed the experience would serve a greater purpose.
"When she first found out, it was ‘God’s gonna use this for his glory.’ She said, ‘We’re not going to live in dread during all of this,’" Natalie said.
The sisters explained that the cancer later progressed to stage four, but Nicole kept a positive attitude, focusing on living life fully despite the prognosis. Her death was confirmed by the family in the social media post.
