Rockstar Announces $20 Upgrade to GTA VI Ultimate Edition
Rockstar Games said players who pre-ordered the standard edition of Grand Theft Auto VI could upgrade to the Ultimate Edition for $20, gaining access to exclusive vehicles, cosmetics and in-game locations before the launch. The company had earlier announced that the game will require up to 212 GB of storage and that digital pre-loading will start roughly a week ahead of the scheduled November release, with the full title arriving at midnight local time across regions.
Earlier reports detailed the pre-load schedule for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, noting that the build size would be up to 212 GB and that pre-loading would be available about ten days before the worldwide launch. Rockstar also outlined the global rollout, stating that the game would become available at midnight local time, with New Zealand receiving the earliest access and Central America the latest.
