Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reiterated his invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a public debate on national issues, urging a response within 24 hours.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi again invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a public debate on a range of national and bilateral issues, saying 24 hours had passed since his initial challenge. In a post on X, Gandhi asked the youth of India whether they wanted to see a debate between the two leaders and urged the prime minister to select a venue and a moderator. He suggested that the discussion be held in the presence of the media and young people, and mentioned that the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat could serve as a judge if Modi preferred. Gandhi also referenced defamation cases filed against him and invited the prime minister to pursue legal action over allegations of foreign connections. The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha emphasized that the debate would allow both sides to address accusations and clarify their positions.
