Katie Suarez, a 28-year-old bank teller, was declared brain dead after being stabbed while jogging on the Shore Parkway Greenway in Brooklyn on October 30. The New York Police Department has released an image of Suarez and is urging witnesses to come forward as they continue searching for the assailant. Suarez was critically injured in the attack, which occurred on a waterfront path in the Bath Beach area.

She was training for the New York City marathon at the time. Police have been investigating the incident since it happened and are treating it as a random stabbing attack.
