Additional women come forward with allegations against Packers running back Josh Jacobs, police records show
Newly released police records detail statements from three women who say they experienced physical assaults by Packers running back Josh Jacobs in 2021 and 2022, adding to the investigation of a May 2026 incident that led to his arrest.
Police records obtained by NBC 26 reveal that three women have contacted the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department with allegations of physical assaults involving Packers running back Josh Jacobs. The documents, heavily redacted, were released late Friday and include new details about the May 2026 incident that resulted in Jacobs' arrest, as well as body- and dash-cam footage of that arrest.
One woman, who remained unnamed, said she met Jacobs on Instagram, communicated with him for about six months, and was assaulted in January 2022. She reported that Jacobs slapped her, seized her cellphone, grabbed her hair, threw her onto a bed, pinned her, spat on her, and grabbed her throat. She told investigators she had not reported the incident at the time but contacted police in June 2026 after learning about the May case.
A second woman reported an April 2021 incident in which Jacobs grabbed her arms and biceps, pushed her against a wall near a window, and threw her belongings outside. She said she suffered bruising on her arms and rib pain. Police records indicate that responding officers observed no visible injuries at the time.
A third woman, whose statement was provided in July, alleged that in May 2022 Jacobs placed his hands on her head and neck, dragged her, scratched her chest, and took her cellphone after it fell. She said she sustained bruising on her arm and chest scratches that remained visible for about a month. She also claimed Jacobs warned her she could be deported, which discouraged her from reporting the incident.
The police report notes that the information about the third woman was supplied by the initial victim in the May 2026 case. That earlier case involved the victim saying Jacobs restrained her, obstructed her breathing, and prevented her from leaving or calling police, with officers documenting redness and scratches on her scalp.
"The victim told investigators she believed she was going to die," the report quoted the victim.
The Hobart/Lawrence Police Department continues to investigate the May 2026 incident while reviewing the newly disclosed statements.
