Panthers and Packers aim to rebound in Thursday Night Football matchup
Carolina and Green Bay seek to recover from Week 7 defeats as they meet at Lambeau Field for Thursday Night Football on Prime Video.
Carolina and Green Bay will open Week 8 on Thursday Night Football, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field. The game will be streamed on Prime Video.
The Panthers, despite a 3-3 record, remain atop the NFC South thanks to a tie-breaker over the Atlanta Falcons. They will try to recover from a 43-13 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7, a game in which they committed four turnovers and allowed 258 rushing yards. Starting right tackle Taylor Moton missed the previous contest after sustaining a fractured fibula.
The Packers also look to bounce back after a 20-17 defeat to the Detroit Lions, which was decided by a walk-off field goal from kicker Jake Bates. Green Bay expects to feature a more balanced offense, with running back Josh Jacobs returning to the lineup after being activated from the commissioner's exempt list.
