Skydance International announces leadership reshuffle and exits of several senior executives

Resumen

Skydance International has reorganized its global structure, appointing new regional heads and confirming the departures of Andrew Georgiou and other senior leaders.

Skydance International said it is restructuring its global operations to create a more integrated network of television and direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses. The company will assign four regional leaders for Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America, each overseeing distribution, ad sales and commercial development in their markets.

The reorganization also marks the exit of several senior executives, including interim President and Managing Director for Europe & Africa Andrew Georgiou, who will leave the company next year after helping manage the transition. Other departing leaders named were Marco Nobili, Jamie Cooke and several long-time contributors to the DTC and TV units.

New appointments include Jeff Cusson as EVP and Head of Communications for Skydance DTC, Shauna Spenley expanding her role to global CMO for DTC and International TV, and Trey Turner taking on the role of COO, International. Josh Walker will serve as COO and CFO for DTC, while Liz Wright becomes CFO for the Skydance TV segment.

Regional heads announced are Qaisar Rafique (EVP Commercial Development for Europe), Reemah Sakaan (President & MD UK & Ireland), Christina Sulebakk (MD Nordics, Benelux, GSA), James Gibbons (President & MD APAC & MENA), Kasia Kieli (President & MD Poland) and Fernando Medin (President & MD LATAM/US Hispanic).

"The painful part in these transitions is that we have to say goodbye to many talented leaders who have delivered significant value to the prior companies," the internal memo said, adding gratitude for their contributions.

The company said the new structure will leverage local expertise and global scale, aiming to drive growth and profitability across its combined TV and streaming portfolio.
