Revised Housing Plans for Maju Forest Reflect Stakeholder Engagement
Conservation groups praised the expanded green spaces in the revised Maju Forest and Gillman Barracks housing plans, saying the changes better balance development and biodiversity, CNA reported on 28 October. The Housing Development Board had earlier announced that the revisions would cut the number of homes slated for the two sites while preserving additional greenery, still targeting about 11,000 new units over the next decade, according to The Straits Times.
