Holloway predicts Volkanovski will win UFC 333 decision
Former champion Max Holloway said he expects Alexander Volkanovski to defeat Movsar Evloev by decision at UFC 333, citing the champion's skill and damage management.
Former featherweight champion Max Holloway shared his prediction for the UFC 333 main event, in which current champion Alexander Volkanovski will face challenger Movsar Evloev. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Holloway said Volkanovski’s biggest concern is absorbing damage rather than a wrestling mismatch.
"With Volkanovski being Volkanovski, I think his biggest concern is damage. He’s smart, will keep distance and use his jab. I see him winning a decision," Holloway said.
Holloway praised Evloev’s wrestling and unbeaten record but argued that Volkanovski’s overall game makes him the favorite. He noted that while Evloev has shown power, Volkanovski is likely to control the pace and avoid prolonged exchanges.
The former champion, who has fought Volkanovski three times, has never faced Evloev, and he concluded that fans should give Volkanovski more credit for his abilities.
