Vanessa Trump Announces She Is Cancer-Free After Breast Cancer Treatment

Résumé

Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., said she is now cancer-free following a breast cancer diagnosis earlier this year, as shared in a video with her daughter Kai.

Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., confirmed she is cancer-free after undergoing treatment for breast cancer diagnosed in April. The update was shared in a video posted on Instagram by her 19-year-old daughter, Kai Trump, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"And my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, so we thought we'd share her story and how she was diagnosed, how she overcame it," Kai said in the clip.

Vanessa stated that recent tests came back clear, indicating she has no remaining disease. The video also featured former Fox News medical contributor Dr. Nicole Saphier, who highlighted the importance of early detection and public awareness.

"It feels different for everyone," Saphier said. "The reason I like social media talking about breast cancer is because it's reminding people that it is common."

Kai added that the full conversation, which covered Vanessa's cancer journey, prevention, and early detection, would be released on YouTube. Vanessa first disclosed her diagnosis in May, noting she was working with her medical team on a treatment plan and expressing gratitude for family support.

Support messages from family members, including Ivanka Trump, were posted at the time. In June, Vanessa reported recovery from surgery and preparation for the next stage of treatment. Kai later described the experience as emotionally challenging but also a "blessing in disguise" because it allowed extra time with her mother before starting college.
