Tovah Feldshuh Criticizes Adam Brody's Pro-Palestine Remarks

Resumen

Actress Tovah Feldshuh condemned Adam Brody's comments calling for a free Palestine, describing accusations of genocide as unfounded and emphasizing Israel's importance to the democratic world.

Actress Tovah Feldshuh, who appears in the Netflix series "Nobody Wants This," responded to Adam Brody's recent remarks supporting a free Palestine. Feldshuh told the New York Post that labeling the Jewish people as perpetrators of genocide is "wild" and likened it to "Hitler’s playbook," adding that such accusations from Jews themselves affect the broader Jewish community.

She emphasized the strategic significance of Israel, stating that "the perseverance of the existence of the state of Israel is crucial to the well-being of the democratic world and of the free world" and that both the United States and Israel rely on each other.

Feldshuh also described the current climate as a "horseshoe effect" where socialism and antisemitism intersect. In her role as Bina Roklov, she said her priority on set is to treat colleagues kindly.

Series creator Erin Foster also weighed in, noting on a podcast that while she disagrees with Brody's stance, she respects his right to hold it, describing workplace discussions as similar to debates that occur at dinner tables worldwide.
