Chiefs place Josh Simmons on IR after meeting dispute
Bleacher Report said the Kansas City Chiefs placed offensive tackle Josh Simmons on injured reserve after a dispute with head coach Andy Reid during a team meeting. NBC Sports reported that Simmons was dealing with a bulging disc in his lower back, and Arrowhead Pride later noted a herniated disc that halted his rehabilitation. Arrowhead Pride also said the team expects his return no sooner than Week 11, and that the Chiefs will rely on backup lineman Kahlil Benson to fill his spot.
