Eagles list six players as inactive for Week 7 matchup with Cowboys

Resumen

Philadelphia announced six players on the inactive list, while Saquon Barkley and several defensive players remain active despite being listed as questionable.

Philadelphia released its Week 7 inactive list ahead of the game against Dallas. The Eagles will sit DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks, Nolan Smith, Michael Carter II, Jake Majors and Cole Payton.

Saquon Barkley is listed as active despite being marked as questionable on the final injury report.

The absence of Smith and Wicks leaves five wide receivers available: Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Elijah Moore, Hollywood Brown and Britain Covey. Lemon, a first-round pick from the 2026 draft, is expected to see increased playing time, while Cooper and Moore could continue to receive targets. Brown, previously ahead of Moore on the depth chart, is now a healthy scratch, and Covey is likely to be used primarily on return duties.

Edge rusher Jalyx Hunt and Jonathan Greenard are also active despite questionable status, and the team temporarily elevated Keyshawn James-Newby for additional depth. Jake Majors is a healthy scratch now that Landon Dickerson and Drew Kendall have returned, and Cole Payton serves as the emergency third quarterback, replacing Joe Milton III from the prior week.

The Cowboys reported no changes, with All-Pro return specialist KaVontae Turpin, linebacker Dee Winters and reserve tackle Drew Shelton listed as out.
