Amazon MGM Studios Confirms Four Actors Testing for Next Bond
The Independent reported on 29 October that Amazon MGM Studios confirmed at least four actors are undergoing screen tests for the next James Bond, naming Jack Lowden, Callum Turner and Josh O’Connor while the identity of the fourth candidate remained unverified. Earlier, Deadline said on 16 October that the studio had scheduled final screen tests for late October with three shortlisted actors. Variety noted on the same day that Callum Turner and Jack Lowden were among those being considered.
The Independent later reported on 16 October that four candidates were in testing, with a casting decision expected before year-end. Betting markets tracked by The Hollywood Reporter and MovieWeb placed Jack Lowden as the favorite, and a Comic Book Resources poll showed him leading fan votes.
