Bears and Patriots set for night showdown on Oct 27
Sports Illustrated reported that the Chicago Bears defeat the New England Patriots 30-24 on night in Chicago, with quarterback Caleb Williams throwing for 308 yards and two touchdowns and Drake Maye posting 321 yards and two scores for New England. The matchup, scheduled for Oct 27, 2026, pits the 4-2 Bears against the 4-2 Patriots in a Night Football game that could influence playoff seeding.
Both teams will be led by 2024 top-draft picks Caleb Williams and Drake Maye, who are returning from recent injuries. New England plans to contain Chicago’s rushing attack, stay disciplined against Williams, and use deep passes, according to Patriots’ strategy notes.
