Trump pledges $100 million drug plant investment and critiques aides at Kentucky rally
President Donald Trump praised Republican candidates and forecast a strong midterm showing at a rally in Highland Heights, Kentucky, while internal sources said he privately criticized campaign aides over strategy concerns on 17 October. He delivered the remarks to a crowd of supporters. Earlier in the same event, Trump pledged a $100 million investment in a local drug-manufacturing plant and promised a Department of Defense contribution to revive the facility, contingent on Republicans retaining control of Congress.
