Trump says he will not use nuclear weapons or ground troops in Iran

President Donald Trump told Newsmax on Thursday that he does not intend to use nuclear weapons against Iran and does not foresee sending U.S. ground troops into the country. He said, "I wouldn't use nuclear. We don't have to. We're the greatest nuclear power in the world." The interview addressed reports that Washington was considering the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast, known as the MOAB. Trump described the weapon as "not nuclear at all. It's just an extremely large bomb. It's like a tiny nuclear bomb. But the mother of all bombs is one big bomb, but it's not nuclear," without confirming any specific deployment plans. When asked about the possibility of putting troops on the ground, he responded, "No, I don't see that, I don't see it."
