Rockstar confirms November 19 release for Grand Theft Auto 6
Rockstar's co-studio lead Rob Nelson told Famitsu the game will launch on November 19, reaffirming the studio's confidence as the launch approaches.
Rockstar Games said the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on November 19, according to a statement from co-studio lead Rob Nelson. Nelson addressed release-date speculation in an interview with the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, saying the company remains on schedule.
"I’d be thrilled if you feel confident about the quality. And it will definitely be released on time."
The comment follows a series of promotional reveals that have highlighted the game's Vice City-inspired setting, new characters Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and expanded environmental details such as weather effects and wildlife. Rockstar has also shared footage of neon-lit nightlife, busy highways and varied terrain across the fictional state of Leonida.
With less than a month left before the announced date, the studio is focusing on final development milestones while continuing to promote pre-order options and additional gameplay features.
