Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb said on practice that he accepted the punch from Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson and stressed the importance of team unity as Buffalo works to improve its defense, Syracuse. com reported.

Jackson was suspended for two games after the NFL ruled the on-field altercation warranted discipline, and Rams head coach Sean McVay said the player must be more consistent and represent the team’s standards, NBC Sports noted. The suspension followed an incident in which Jackson punched Chubb following the Bills’ 37-34 overtime win over the Rams, a clash first reported by Fox News and later discussed as a possible disciplinary case by NBC Sports.
