Bradley Chubb Discusses Altercation with Alaric Jackson After Rams Game
Bills pass rusher Bradley Chubb described his perspective on a post-game confrontation with Rams offensive tackle Alaric Jackson and noted he learned to keep his hands up or wear a helmet.
Bills defensive end Bradley Chubb said he gained a lesson about protecting himself after a post-game incident with Rams offensive tackle Alaric Jackson. Chubb told ESPN’s Nick Suss that he would either keep his hands up or wear a helmet in future encounters.
Chubb explained that he started the conversation following the Bills’ 37-34 overtime win, denying rumors that he had insulted Jackson’s mother. He said he warned Jackson that “the chip’s not gonna save you, the guard’s not gonna save you,” before the altercation escalated.
He added that he has not heard from Jackson since the incident and expressed pride in not retaliating, which could have led to a suspension for himself.
Alaric Jackson’s suspension for the episode was reduced to one game on appeal, and he will be on unpaid leave for the Rams’ upcoming game against the Cardinals. If the two teams meet again this season, it could be in the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium in February.
