Apple has announced a deadline for its ‘Get Ready’ pre-order process for the upcoming iPhone Duo. Customers can make their selections in the Apple Store app or on the company’s website ahead of the official launch, but must finish the preparation by 9 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, October 15 (midnight Eastern Time).
The iPhone Duo pre-orders are scheduled to open on Friday, October 16 at 8 a.m. Eastern (5 a.m. Pacific). Completing the ‘Get Ready’ steps in advance will allow shoppers to finalize their orders within seconds once the pre-order window opens.
Apple advises prospective buyers to decide on model colour, storage capacity and purchase or lease options before the deadline to take advantage of the streamlined checkout.
