Actress Selma Blair arrested after alleged altercation on Delta flight
Selma Blair was taken into custody by New York police after an incident on a Delta flight arriving at JFK, where crew members were reportedly injured.
Selma Blair, 54, was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Sunday night following an alleged physical confrontation with crew members on Delta Airlines flight 938 arriving from Los Angeles. New York Port Authority officials said police responded to a report of a "physically abusive passenger" at approximately 11 p.m. and identified Blair as the suspect. She was detained and transported to a hospital for evaluation.
"Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition," a representative told TMZ.
Two flight attendants reported injuries, with one also taken to a hospital for further assessment. Delta Airlines issued a statement emphasizing its "zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior" and noted that the flight landed ahead of schedule with no operational impact.
Blair's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
