Jon Gosselin defends son's abuse memoir, warns Kate of legal action
Jon Gosselin said he was proud of his son Collin's memoir and warned that anyone spreading false claims about Collin's mental health would be held accountable, ABC News reported. Earlier, Kate Gosselin thanked supporters on TikTok after the memoir's release and had previously responded to the abuse allegations in the book. The memoir, issued in October, details Collin's accusations that Kate physically abused him, confined him in the family basement, and kept him in a behavioral-health facility for 20 months.
Collin also claimed she withdrew more than $100,000 from a family trust. He first discussed these allegations in interviews with ABC News and Vulture before the book's publication.
