Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Spotted Hand-in-Hand at Malibu Beach After Son's Death
The supermodel and her husband were photographed walking together on Zuma Beach, their first public appearance since their son Presley Gerber died in September.
Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were seen walking side by side on Zuma Beach in Malibu on Saturday, October 10, according to photographs released by TMZ. The couple, who married in 1998 and share daughter Kaia Gerber, held hands and wore casual attire—Crawford in a long-sleeved white shirt and black leggings, Gerber in a white T-shirt and black athletic shorts.
Presley Gerber, 27, died on September 20 at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has deferred the official cause and manner of death pending additional testing, a process that can take several months.
"The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time," family representative Allie Jenkins told the Associated Press.
Friends of the family, including actor George Clooney, have publicly expressed their condolences. Clooney, who co-founded Casamigos with Gerber, referenced the loss in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Presley had worked as a model for brands such as Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana and appeared with his mother in a 2018 Pepsi commercial. He also used his social media platforms to discuss mental-health issues, launching a "Mental Health Mondays" series aimed at encouraging open conversation.
