George Clooney calls Presley Gerber's death devastating for family
Actor George Clooney described the death of Presley Gerber, 27, as one of the most devastating events for the Gerber family during an Entertainment Tonight interview.
Actor George Clooney said Presley Gerber's death has been "one of the most devastating things" for the Gerber family during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. Clooney, a longtime friend of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, told the outlet that the family is experiencing the worst possible tragedy.
Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of Crawford and Gerber, died on Sept. 20 at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records. He had been admitted to the Resolutions Living facility the day before.
Clooney, who co-founded Casamigos Tequila with Rande Gerber and is sometimes called "Uncle George" by the Gerber children, was seen with his wife Amal Clooney at Kaia Gerber's Los Angeles home shortly after the death. Sources said Clooney had a close relationship with Presley, often speaking with him and offering support, including advice after a 2018 DUI and messages of encouragement in later years.
