George Clooney Expresses Condolences After Presley Gerber's Death
Actor George Clooney offered sympathy to Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford following the death of their son Presley Gerber, who died at 27 from a suspected overdose.
Actor George Clooney said he is keeping his business partner Rande Gerber in his thoughts after the 27-year-old son of Gerber and model Cindy Crawford died of a suspected overdose on Sept. 20. Clooney, who co-founded Casamigos Tequila with Gerber in 2013, told Entertainment Tonight at the Albies awards ceremony on Oct. 9 that the loss has deeply affected their family.
"It is one of the most devastating things that has happened to our family," Clooney said, adding that the tragedy is "the worst thing that could ever happen with family."
Presley Gerber was the only son of the couple, who have a 25-year-old daughter, model Kaia Gerber. Kaia had previously spoken about her brother's long-standing struggle with drug addiction in a Vogue interview published in August, noting that such events can profoundly impact a family.
