Verstappen wins Singapore Grand Prix, ending long wait for victory at Marina Bay

Resumen

Max Verstappen secured his first Singapore Grand Prix win, his second consecutive race victory, while Red Bull Racing aims to maintain momentum into the United States Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen claimed victory at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, giving the four-time world champion his first win at the Marina Bay Street Circuit after previous second-place finishes in 2018, 2024 and 2025. The triumph came as part of a triple-header that also included races in Baku and Malaysia, where Verstappen had already taken his first win of the season.

Verstappen said the race was “very good” and highlighted the team's pace on both soft and medium tyres, noting that the medium compound proved more challenging for many drivers but ultimately worked out. He expressed satisfaction with the result and optimism for the remainder of the season.

Red Bull team members described the recent performances as “really positive” and said the success has boosted motivation within the squad. The team hopes to extend the winning streak at the upcoming United States Grand Prix in Austin.

Red Bull’s Isack Hadjar was unable to finish the sprint race due to mechanical problems, which forced him to start the main Grand Prix from the pit lane.
