Actor Joe Manganiello Reveals Near-Violent Plot Against Sofia Vergara's Ex-Fiancé in Memoir
In his memoir, Joe Manganiello recounts considering a violent scheme against Sofia Vergara's former fiancé, Nick Loeb, after the actor became angry over Loeb's legal actions involving their embryos.
Actor Joe Manganiello disclosed in his recently released memoir, Bloodlines, that he once contemplated a violent plan against Sofia Vergara's former fiancé, Nick Loeb. Manganiello said his animosity toward Loeb began after the latter sued Vergara for custody of their embryos and organized protests at the premiere of Magic Mike XXL.
He described how a friend who works in private security suggested "snatching" Loeb, blindfolding and restraining him, transporting him to a remote area, and beating him severely before abandoning him in the woods. Manganiello said he seriously considered the proposal but ultimately decided against it, preferring to leave the matter to fate.
"I thought about it, but I realized it wouldn't be a good idea," Manganiello said.
The actor also claimed he warned Vergara that he might lose control if they encountered Loeb in public. The memoir includes other personal anecdotes, including allegations that Vergara mocked him during a period when he was dealing with a serious autoimmune condition and that Tom Cruise allegedly blocked his casting in the Jack Reacher series because of Cruise's past relationship with Vergara.
