Resumen

Travis Barker had cubital tunnel release surgery to treat numbness in his arm, hand and fingers that began after a recent show, and expects to recover within a few weeks.

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker said he underwent cubital tunnel release surgery after experiencing numbness in his arm, hand and fingers following a concert last month. He posted on Instagram Stories that a nerve test conducted on Monday indicated the procedure was necessary and that he chose to have it promptly so he can continue playing drums for the long term. Barker added that he expects to be fully recovered in a few weeks. The update was shared alongside a selfie with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, who appeared beside him in a hospital gown.

Barker previously posted photos from his hospital stay, including a selfie with his daughter Alabama and a picture of Kardashian kissing him. The drummer has a history of hand injuries, having dislocated a finger during rehearsals for Blink-182’s 2023 reunion tour, and was hospitalized in 2022 for severe pancreatitis after an endoscopy.

Barker and Kardashian, who married in 2022, have a son together, Rocky, born in November 2023. Kardashian also has three children from a prior relationship, while Barker has three children from previous relationships.
