Apple slated to unveil touchscreen MacBook Pro, OLED iPad mini and M6-powered Macs on Oct. 28
Apple is set to host an event in Los Angeles on Oct. 28 where it will introduce touchscreen MacBook Pro models, an OLED iPad mini and updated iMac and entry-level MacBook Pro devices featuring the M6 chip.
Apple is preparing an event in Los Angeles for Oct. 28, during which it plans to launch several new products. The agenda includes 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models equipped with touchscreen OLED displays, as well as a refreshed iPad mini that will feature an OLED screen and a repositioned FaceTime camera for landscape orientation.
The company is also expected to announce new iMac and entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro models that retain existing designs but receive an upgrade to the M6 processor. The touchscreen MacBook Pro variants are rumored to incorporate a Dynamic Island interface in place of the current notch and to be powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, offering a lighter form factor than current models.
Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman confirmed that Apple has begun sending invitations to selected media outlets for the Oct. 28 event, confirming the date and location after earlier speculation about a different schedule.
