Apple to unveil touchscreen MacBook Pro, OLED iPad mini and M6 Macs
Apple has invited selected journalists to an all-day product launch in Los Angeles on October 28, where it plans to showcase touchscreen MacBook Pro models, an OLED iPad mini and Macs powered by the M6 chip. The invitation follows a two-day, invitation-only creator event scheduled for October 27-28, which analysts said would also feature a refreshed iMac. Earlier reports indicated the new MacBook Pro would retain the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, incorporate an OLED display, a touchscreen and Dynamic Island, and be lighter but not substantially thinner than current models.
Subsequent leaks suggested the redesign would drop the display notch, offer slightly larger 14. 3-inch and 16. 3-inch screens, and reduce weight while preserving ports, battery life and thermal performance.
