Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's availability for Week 5 remains uncertain
Lamar Jackson's ankle injury leaves his participation in the upcoming game against Atlanta doubtful, with Tyler Huntley set to start if Jackson is sidelined.
The Baltimore Ravens are weighing the possibility that quarterback Lamar Jackson will miss the Sunday night matchup in Atlanta. Jackson suffered an ankle injury during the team's Week 4 victory over the Tennessee Titans and is awaiting an MRI to assess the severity. After further evaluation on Monday, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport indicated there is only an "outside chance" that Jackson will be cleared to play against the Falcons. His status for the following week's game will depend on the response of his sprained ankle to treatment.
If Jackson is unavailable, backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is expected to start. Huntley contributed 63 yards on eight of nine attempts in the second half of the Titans win and has previously started 11 games for Baltimore, as well as five starts for the Miami Dolphins earlier this season.
