Dakota Johnson celebrates 37th birthday at Manhattan restaurant with Jennifer Lawrence

Actress Dakota Johnson marked her 37th birthday on Sunday evening at Via Carota, a West Village restaurant in New York City, after hosting Saturday Night Live earlier in the week. Johnson wore a black dress with sheer lace panels, paired with heels, a leather jacket trimmed in fur, layered necklaces, a beaded bag and a red manicure. A bodyguard was seen carrying a bouquet of pink and purple flowers and a Valentino shopping bag.

Jennifer Lawrence joined Johnson for the dinner, arriving in a white tee, patterned skirt, animal-print slides and a sheer black cardigan. Lawrence’s husband, Cooke Maroney, attended in a casual dress shirt and slacks.

Taylor Swift, who appeared on Johnson’s SNL monologue the previous night, later presented Johnson with a blue birthday cake. The two have been friends for about a decade, and Johnson recently appeared in Swift’s “Patient Zero” music video with Colin Farrell.
