Britt Stewart and Taylor Hanson eliminated amid backstage tension on DWTS
Cosmopolitan reported that professional dancer Britt Stewart and partner Taylor Hanson were eliminated from "Dancing With the Stars" after receiving the lowest judges' scores on the September 29 episode, and that the departure sparked heightened backstage tension. Yahoo also noted the couple's elimination on the September 29 episode, describing them as the lowest-scoring pair in combined judges' scores and audience votes. Deadline added that the yacht-rock themed episode featured several couples earning high marks while the eliminated pair received the lowest judges’ marks.
The Hollywood Reporter said Amber Glenn and Harry Shum Jr. tied for the highest judges' scores that night and that the competition continued after the previous week's eliminations.
