Rockstar reveals GTA VI’s expanded map and immersive systems
Rockstar Games disclosed that Grand Theft Auto VI will feature a larger, multi-region map called Leonida, with a narrative designed to guide players through diverse locations rather than serve as a mere backdrop. The company added that the fictional Florida-inspired setting will host dynamic weather, including tropical storms and hurricanes, and will be populated by more than 170 land, air and sea animal species, as well as highly varied non-player characters. Earlier disclosures highlighted the game's expanded weather system with localized rain and dynamic clouds, and confirmed the extensive wildlife roster, underscoring Rockstar's focus on creating a living, interactive world.
