Penta honors late AEW star Pac with boot inscription on WWE Raw
During a WWE Raw tag team match, Penta displayed the name "Pac" on his boot as a tribute to the recently deceased AEW wrestler Benjamin Satterley, who died at age 40.
Penta wore the name "Pac" on his left boot while competing in a tag team match on WWE Raw, honoring the late All Elite Wrestling performer Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac. The tribute came after AEW announced Satterley's death on Sunday at age 40. WWE opened the show with a graphic tribute to the wrestler.
Satterley, a former WWE competitor under the name Neville, had a career that began in 2004 and included stints in AEW, WWE, and Mexico's Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. He was found unresponsive outside a restaurant in California on Sunday afternoon, and authorities said there were no signs of foul play. The cause of death is pending a determination by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
AEW released a statement expressing sadness over Satterley's passing, noting his contributions to the promotion since signing in 2019 and his multiple championship reigns. The wrestling community remembered him for his innovative high-flying style and in-ring ability.
