AEW Confirms Death of Wrestler Benjamin Satterley, Known as Pac, at 40

Summary

All Elite Wrestling announced the passing of 40-year-old English wrestler Benjamin Satterley, famed as Pac, without providing a cause of death.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) confirmed on Sunday that Benjamin Satterley, the 40-year-old English performer best known by his ring name Pac, has died. The promotion’s website announced the news but did not disclose a cause of death.

Satterley, a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, began training in professional wrestling at age 18 after being inspired by his aunt, a fan of the WWF. He entered the ring in 2004 and gained international recognition under the moniker Adrian Neville from 2012 to 2018 before joining AEW in 2019. During his tenure with the company, he became the inaugural AEW International Champion and a two-time AEW World Trios Champion.

The wrestling community responded with tributes. Fellow wrestler Will Ospreys wrote, "The greatest export from our country. Also the greatest human being," adding that he was honored to share the ring with Pac. Kevin Owens posted, "The best lad… We love you," accompanied by photos of the two.

AEW expressed its sympathy on social media, stating, "Our condolences go out to Satterley's family, friends and fans."
