Jalen Brunson hosts SNL, skit features hidden trash-can blower
Jalen Brunson hosted Night Live's season-52 premiere in New York on 26 September, featuring a workplace sketch that used a hidden trash-can blower to make the final shot difficult. Earlier in September, NBC announced that Brunson would open the season, making him the first NBA player to host the show since 2007.
The episode also brought several New York Knicks teammates onto the stage and featured Katseye as the musical guest. Critics noted that while Brunson delivered a monologue and multiple sketches, the writing was uneven and leaned heavily on his championship fame.
